Instant/quick Idli Dhokla Recipe (in Hindi)- How to make soft, easy, tasty dhokla for Breakfast Video
Enjoy this Healthy instant Idli Dhokla for breakfast or as a snack, it is soft, spongy, light, quick and equally tasty.
Here are the ingredients that you need to make these Instant Dhokla Idli:-
1 cup sooji or rava or semolina
1/2 cup besan / gram flour
1 tsp garlic crushed
1 tsp green chillies
1tsp coriander powder
1 cup belated curd
1 cup water or add as required
1 tsp oil vegetable or olive
1 tsp sugar or add as per taste
1 pinch turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp eno (fruit salt)
salt as required
for tempering:
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds (rai or sarson)
8 to 10 curry leaves (kadi patta)
for imli/ tamarind chutney :
1 cup imli soaked overnight
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 tablespoons
Method:-
In a large bowl mix rave, besan, salt, sugar, coriander powder, haldi, curd, oil, garlic and green chilli
Keep aside
meanwhile add 3-4 cups water in the steamer and heat it.
Now add eno to the prepared batter and mix but don't over mix else the air bubbles will escape.
grease a pan, Idli tray with oil and quickly pour the batter in the prepared pan.
keep the pan in the steamer.
cover the steamer and steam for approx 8-9 minutes.
remove the dhokla and allow to cool for 3-4 minutes.
Slice the Idli Dhokla
For tempering:
heat oil in a small pan. first add the mustard seeds. let them pop first.
then add sliced green chillies and curry leaves allow to crackle them.
pour the tempering mixture evenly over the dhokla.
For chutney
Soak tamarind overnight.
Next morning remove the seeds
Now to a mixer jar add tamarind, salt, sugar, Cumin seeds, water if required and make a paste your Chutney is ready.
Serve the idle dhokla with imli ki Chutney warm or cool.
