In 1865, it was occupied by William Moreland & Co. Dry Salters and in 1880 it was Macnaughton Cement & Alabaster Stores. In 1991, the place was occupied by the Stack "N" and there were others things and details that might have come into the story of its occupation before the Dirty Onion Pub came to life.
