Ingredients you need to make Pyaza Kadhi :-
2 cup Curd/Dahl
1/2 cup Besan/chickpeas flour
Salt to taste
1 tsp turmeric powder /Haldi
1 tsp methi seeds/fenugreek
Water as required
1 cup sliced onions
1 tsp oil
For tempering:- 1-2 tsp oil, 4-5 red chillies, 1 cup chopped onions, garlic, coriander powder
For pakoras:- 2 tbsp Besan, 1/2 cup sliced onion, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, oil to fry pakoras
Method to make Pakora Kadhi :-
1. Beat curd properly with hand churner add Besan and churn again, add salt to taste, turmeric powder and water, make sure their are no lumps in the mixture, if you see any lump stir again.
2. In a large pan/patiala heat 1 tsp oil, add Methi seeds now slowly add the curd besan mixture, keep stirring.
3. Once the mixture starts to boil add some more water, bring it to a boil and reduce the flame and let it cook on low flame.
4. For tempering add 1-2 tsp oil in a pan add 3-4 red chillies, chopped ginger and 1 cup chopped onion cook it till the onions turn golden brown.
5. For pakoras add 2 tbsp Besan, salt to taste, 1 cup sliced onions, 1/2 chilli powder and water as required. Mix everything very well. Heat oil in another pan and fry pyaz pakoras.
6. Once done Add tempering and pakoras to the cooked Besan & curd mixture.
7. Your Pyaza Kadhi with Punjabi Pakoras is ready to serve.
8. Serve this Kadhi with rice and some onion and pickle on side.
