The Biggest Lesson I Learned During My PhD Video
You learn many things during a PhD that are helpful for life. For me, the biggest thing was to learn to relax and enjoy the process. This was a similar lesson that I learnt by having a baby.
I think the lessons and the experiences are quite similar. You are building something that takes a quite bit of time and effort, and no amount of willing it to learn or taking shortcuts will get you there quicker.
In fact, you might actually things worst by taking short-cuts in both instances. You will end up with a dysfunctional adult if you don’t spend enough time and care with your child, and if you do not give your PhD enough time and focus, you will have a subpar idea.
My biggest recommendation is to chill and relax with the PhD. Just learn to enjoy the process. This is one of those times that you will learn and grow as a person, so take the time to do so. Do not rush your PhD.
