In this video, I have described Wittig Horner Reaction, a method for the preparation of E-alkenes or Trans-Alkene. This reaction involves the use of phosphene oxide stabilized carbanion which reacts with carbanion and produces E-alkenes. I have also described the complete mechanism associated with this reaction.
