I cooked my lasagna in the slow cooker on high for ~4 hours, but you can run it on low for 6-8 if that works better for you. Crockpot Lasagna is SO easy that you'll likely have time and energy to make some homemade breadsticks from scratch! See how easy these are to put together and they taste FANTASTIC with this crockpot lasagna (or any italian recipe)! Find both recipes below as well as links to printable versions!

Crockpot Lasagna Recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1/2 pound ground sausage
TWO jars of pasta sauce (24 ounces each)
1/2 to 1 cup water
8 ounces part skim ricotta cheese
8 ounces cottage cheese
1 egg
2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup Parmesan
1 cup fresh baby spinach (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

Brown ground beef and sausage in a large skillet on medium-high heat, until cooked through. Drain grease, if needed.
Pour almost two jars of pasta sauce into the ground beef and sausage mixture.

Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of water (depending on thickness of sauce and desired consistency) into the empty pasta sauce jar, cover with lid, and shake. Then stir the water into the meat and sauce mixture.

In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta, cottage cheese, 1 cup of the mozzarella, Parmesan, eggs, oregano, basil, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

If desired, place slow cooker liner in slow cooker pot
Spread a thin layer of the remaining pasta sauce (without the meat) on the bottom of slow cooker.

Place 1 layer of uncooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce layer, then 1/3 of the cheese mixture, then some spinach (if desired), then about 1 cup of meat sauce. Repeat noodles, cheese mixture, spinach and meat sauce twice.

Top lasagna with remaining 1 cup of mozzarella and any remaining meat sauce and pasta sauce.

Place lid on slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours OR 6-8 hours on high. Let lasagna rest for about 10-20 minutes before serving.

Homemade 1 Hour Breadsticks Recipe:
(about 22 breadsticks)

INGREDIENTS:

1 tablespoon instant yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
To Taste: garlic salt, Italian seasoning, onion powder & grated Parmesan cheese (and any other seasonings you may love!)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water (around 115˚F/46.1˚C), set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt. Then stir in the yeast mixture until combined and dough begins to come together. Use your hands to finish mixing the dough by kneading.

Knead the dough for 3 minutes, until dough is well combined and sticky. Let rest for 10 minutes.

Melt 1/2 cup butter and pour onto a baking sheet.

Lightly flour a work surface and roll the dough out into a rectangle about the size of the baking sheet. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into 1-inch-wide strips. With a strip of dough, bring the ends together so it is doubled, then twist. Roll the bread stick in the butter until coated, then place on the pan. Repeat with remaining dough.

Season breadsticks with a light, even layer of garlic salt, onion powder, and Italian seasoning (or other desired seasonings). Sprinkle Parmesan evenly over top. Don't be skimpy on the Parmesan!

Preheat the oven to 375˚F/190˚C. Meanwhile, let the bread sticks rise for 10-20 minutes.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until beginning to lightly brown.

About the Site 🌐

This site provides links to random videos hosted at YouTube, with the emphasis on random. 🎥

Origins of the Idea 🌱

The original idea for this site stemmed from the need to benchmark the popularity of a video against the general population of YouTube videos. 🧠

Challenges Faced 🤔

Obtaining a large sample of videos was crucial for accurate ranking, but YouTube lacks a direct method to gather random video IDs.

Even searching for random strings on YouTube doesn't yield truly random results, complicating the process further. 🔍

Creating Truly Random Links 🛠️

The YouTube API offers additional functions enabling the discovery of more random videos. Through inventive techniques and a touch of space-time manipulation, we've achieved a process yielding nearly 100% random links to YouTube videos.

About YouTube 📺

YouTube, an American video-sharing website based in San Bruno, California, offers a diverse range of user-generated and corporate media content. 🌟

Content and Users 🎵

Users can upload, view, rate, share, and comment on videos, with content spanning video clips, music videos, live streams, and more.

While most content is uploaded by individuals, media corporations like CBS and the BBC also contribute. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users enjoy additional privileges such as uploading unlimited videos and adding comments.

Monetization and Impact 🤑

YouTube and creators earn revenue through Google AdSense, with most videos free to view. Premium channels and subscription services like YouTube Music and YouTube Premium offer ad-free streaming.

As of February 2017, over 400 hours of content were uploaded to YouTube every minute, with the site ranking as the second-most popular globally. By May 2019, this figure exceeded 500 hours per minute. 📈
