In order to access your automations, you will start from the Wix dashboard and select the 'contacts and CRM' button from the left side of the page and from inside there you will select the 'automations' choice. This is supposed to bring you into your automations dashboard.
Now you have accessed your automations and should know how to send an automated response email to your contacts. In order to send an automated response email to your contacts, you will click on the 'add new automation' button. From the 'choose a trigger' drop down menu, you will select the 'submit a contact form' then select 'send email to visitors' through the 'choose action' section.
If this is your first time to do such a thing, you will need to go through some steps first, such as confirming the name and the email address that you want to send the emails from, enter the details and copy the code that is sent to your email address in order to confirm.
If you want to edit the email, you will click on the 'edit email template' button and customize the email so that it will suit all your needs. The editing happens through clicking or hovering over the element that you want to remove - or even more than one. To add an additional element, you will click on the plus sign which will be found on the left side of the screen and which will bring up different options for you. You will find a button just under the plus sign and this one is for changing the color of the background of the email.
Now when you get done with editing the email address, you could now work on 'choose a time' button which is for choosing and deciding how soon your contact should receive the email, and you will also choose whether to send this email once or every single time they contact you.
Finally, click 'activate' which is found at the top right in order to save all the changes that you have made.
