It was in the year 1956 when Robert Kiyosaki was a nine-year-old child. A friend of Roberts did not invite him to his party because Robert was not rich enough. This turn of Robert's life inspired him to explore how to become rich. The child Robert took this to his heart and told his father the whole account. Finding his child quite disturbed, Robert’s father advised him to learn to make money. Robert’s father further suggested him to use his own genius to learn how to become a billionaire. Robert’s father was an educationist. Although he was brilliant in academics he was unable to groom Robert in money matters. He was caught in the Rat Race of “Get up, go for job and pay bills.”
The next day Robert had a brainstorming session with his best friend Mike to find an idea to make money. Mike too was refused entry into the exclusive party of the rich kids of the town.
